Why do you think that so many kids with ASD resist school?? Is it because parents have lost control? I’m struggling with the same thing with my 16 year old son. He has unmanaged Add and Asd and some learning disabilities. I have 2 different tutors and he attends a shop class and an intro to theatre class. It is hard to get him to do what my other 3 kids naturally did - they weren’t perfect but jeez. I’m afraid of not making an impact about how important it is to do things you don’t want to do sometimes - especially when a Working. Was the no school Issue an issue before COVID? Should I send my son to boarding school if Ww can afford it? Would appreciate anyones input.
