How to teach a kid that his demand avoidance will get them into trouble? Meaning you choose to refuse medical tests you won't get treatment. Refuse work loose your job. Refuse school and the school may send somebody to pick you up. I ask after a conversation where Said kid said we'll you know making me do something I don't want to do makes me want to do it less going to school. I thought to myself how is he going to hold down a job. Also does he realize I have it now where the school will check up on him rather than me. Also how to teach them to be reliable help. Another incident was I asked him to fill the car with windshield wiper fluid. He avoided it for weeks by the time I had done it myself. However that will limit my willingness to ask him for help since he only wants to do it completely on his terms and time schedule and not work with others.
