I've had another random thought.... Does the placebo effect not work on autistic individuals due to the way their brains work? Does the placebo effect work just as well? Do autistic individuals research too much for the placebo effect to work on them? I'm AuDHD myself, and have noticed the placebo affect never works on me. I think the only one that works (but then again it still works even after finding out about it), is ginger ale. However, literally nothing else works, including multivitamin gummies, things like nasal strips, etc.
