Hiđź‘‹ I'm homeschooling my 14 year old son. We work about 2 hours a day. I'm worried this isn't enough. He's a gamer. He spends his free time doing that, and I try to respect all the nuances that make him him. But, I'm worried I'm not "teaching...aka...forcing" him to do more. I'm worried he won't be able to move into a "workday" mentality because I am only requiring 2 hours a day from him now. He IS learning. He IS doing what I ask of him. Increasing our workload seems like a punishment to him, so he tends to shut off his brain when I ask more of him. So, I do what I can to get quality schoolwork done. Any advice? I don't want regrets when he's older and has to work for a living. Has anyone lived through this stage already? What has worked? What didn't work? What would you tell yourself to do differently if you could? Thanks! Any advice is appreciated!
