Explaining schedule issues to someone on the spectrum. My ASD kid is struggling to grasp other people have schedules and limits and boundaries they have to respect to. IE told the kid I am being late to my rehearsal to pick you up and he decided to screw off with his friends instead of come put to the car. He took it better than expected that I did not appreciate the disrespect and other people have plans too. He was also demanding a trip to grandma's without processing I already have too much planned this weekend.
