Hi, has anyone used these strategies for kids with ADHD? Wondering if there are any tips for adjusting advice given here for ADHD specifically. Thanks in advance! I have a cousin with Asperger's who's doing really well these days (almost 30, working, getting married, and just very charming and kind, despite having had a hard home situation). Our elder son has ADHD but exhibits some symptoms that might place him on the spectrum. His issues are less about social situations, more about motivation, staying on task, sticking with non-preferred tasks. We've been on the Nemechek Protocol, which I believe has helped a lot, and he takes ADHD stimulant meds, but we still struggle to get through homework, reading, getting ready in the mornings (the hardest part of our day, and we're basically late everyday), getting off screens, etc. Also hope to find ways to improve vocabulary and motivate him to read. He struggled to learn reading skills and now reads nearly on-level (4th grade) but just doesn't want to read.
