Does anyone have any experience with hyperfixations? If so, how does one stop? I've been hyperfixated on one thing for months and have no clue how to stop. I tried moving slowly away from it and I tried taking everything about it out of my life at once and it's still constantly on my mind. It's an tv show that is NOT for my age. I heard people in my class talking about it and watched it to try and join in conversations and possibly make friends (ps: didn't work.) Now it's just constantly on my mind. In the beginning, I drew the characters and found out I'm good at drawing them so continued and now stopping to draw them kills me. It feels like a withdrawal. Any advice?
