Hi again. I have a 12 yr old son with Asperger's. Now that we know that, and have learned more about it, we (his dad and I) have gotten a lot better about not getting so frustrated with him and utterly baffled. This has helped us connect better with him and decrease his defense mode. However, I am still struggling with getting him to grasp abstract ideas and articulate them. He needs to be able to do this for school purposes (and for relationship purposes), but I can't seem to teach him this. Anyone have thoughts?
