This could be just a me thing but I read that it is more common for people with Autism/Asperger's to be able to intentionally unfocus their eyes. My assumption when reading this is that it is easier to block out the world when overwhelmed. I am able to intentionally unfocus my eyes and I do so regularly. Now, this could also be because I have exotropia and isotropia, related to my ehlers danlos, but it may also be me honing in on the ability as a child and perfecting it. I saw somewhere that only around 10% of people can unfocus their eyes on command. Is this common with autism/asperger's?
