How can I be successful when others will not allow me to employ any of my coping skills? What hasn't worked: Any kind of breathing exercise, talking through it What has worked for me: Clenching my fists super tight, going for a walk, temporarily removing myself from the situation and revisiting it once everyone has cooled down, earbuds, shower, using the bathroom, etc. What works for me makes other people hate me, they think I am mad when clenching my fists, they don't like when I want to remove myself to cool down (especially my mom, she will follow me) and I am not even allowed to go to the bathroom... How can I function and not get in arguments when I am being forced into them and not allowed to use my coping skills?
