For emotional capacity the focus seems to be on stress and pressure. I am guessing other emotions also go into this same bucket. Please correct me if I am wrong. I will use today as an example. My son chose what days he was going to go to school (Tuesday and Wednesday). He didn't go the 2 days he chose so here we are on Friday and stress and pressure have built up. I can see his bucket is already full and starting to spill over. I can imagine how shame, fear and anxiety would also add to this bucket. Would this be separate or just consider these other emotions as another stressor that needs to be dealt with? Or are stressors outside demands that society puts on all of us? Either way I am going to stop reminding him or trying to lower the bar because it doesn't improve or remove any of the capability blocks, he has.
