I stumbled upon this guy called "adhd dude" on social media. He says on YouTube that pathological demand avoidance is not a diagnosis anywhere in the world and is not the issue. He says the real issue is lagging executive functioning skills and not to accommodate it. He says that using declarative language such as "you can *choose* to do the thing or you can *choose* to lose screen time (for example) is the way to deal with this in addition to "scaffolding parenting" (?). I'm wondering - what do you think about this as many with asd also have adhd?
