I have a question about flying with our adult children with ASD. We are going to be taking our first flight ever with my son. He is ASD1, has Bipolar 2 and Intermittent Explosive Disorder, ADHD etc. etc. What are some good coping strategies your families have used to help keep your loved ones calm that may also help prevent my son from being anxious to the point of freaking out and having the air marshals forcefully land the plane. πŸ˜– (I'm super worried about this and have tried talking to him daily to prepare him for this experience.) I am planning on downloading some shows on Netflix on my device, and I am making sure he can bring his Nintendo Switch with him to try to keep him occupied. I have gotten the doctor to prescribe Ativan in the worse case scenario. But I would really love for him to be able to enjoy the experience of flying and getting to look out the window as we fly. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thank you so much!
