My 15 year old son knows that every school night he needs to turn his phone in at 11:30 PM. Last night he did not. Per our written agreement, the consequence is loss of technology the following day. This usually puts him in shut down/defense mode. How can I best hold him accountable without putting him in defense mode. I don’t want to use red line approach. What is a good blue line approach for this scenario?
