My 15yo son has a very difficult time "remembering" to do basic things. This morning he left the house without his backpack. I have tried for 2 years to encourage the use of lists, reminders, rewards, consequences, etc. This morning he wanted to drive to school. I have been talking to him about not being allowed to drive until he shows good responsibility. After previously agreeing that he could drive, I took that away this morning. Of course he was mad at me. I reminded him the alternative was that I let him go to school without it and face that embarrassment. Any suggestions on how you get your kids to meet responsibilities (ie meds, backpack, lunch, clothes needed for later, etc.
